Welcome,

My research interests lie within the lines of the evolutionary ecology of species interactions going from animal-plant to community wide interactions as study systems.  I combine techniques that include field and greenhouse experimentation, environmental characterization, community phylogenetic tree building and statistical modeling to understand how patterns of multiple species interactions and coexistence within environments arise from trait evolution.

Specifically, I link:

(1) adaptive processes, such as trait evolution through natural selection, with patterns of geographical variation in the outcome of the interplay between animals and plants.

(2) patterns of species co-occurrence with community assembly rules, functional trait variation and phylogenetic structure.
